Electrical box Installation
To install an electrical box turn the power to the circuit off at the main service panel. Test the wires for power using the circuit tester the tester should not glow if it does shut the power off to the correct circuit at the main service panel. Fasten the electrical box to a wooden framing member. Thread each cable through a cable clamp. Tighten the clamp 6 inches from the end do not over tighten. Over tightening can damage cables.
